This picture (painted by a famous sardinian artist (S.Manca) in the 19th century) deals with a curious familiar scene representing the parish of the village inviting a cheerful group of countrymen to a party taking place at his home. The wine aboundantely pours out from big bottles and the sweets are kindly offered by the two women dressed in the typical costume. This witnesses the warm-heartedness and the sense of hospitality that have characterized the sardinian people since ever. Wines and genuine liqueurs themselves, togheter with delicious sweets are the essential elements that you can find in our familiar concern. In addition to this you will enjoy our pluriennal experience and kindness.

The present building where our concern is located was, in the first years of the last century, the horse-station daily linking Alghero with its neighbouring villages. The horse-coaches used to stop beside Porta Terra' s tower. People could thind there the necessary for reparing the stables for the horses' rest and, of course, a little table where the coachman used to sip a refreshing glass of good wine. In choosing to enterprise this activity, we took inspiraction from this old tradition. Tradictional and simple things are still alive inside of our building, together with our people's skilfulness in the production of wines and sweets, the purest olive oil, typical varietes of pasta and tasteful specialties of a cookery proposing all the smells and flavours of a splendid and hospitable of mediterranean isle: Sardinya.

Enodolciaria is located at the beginning of the catalan historical center, once ago surrounded by high boundary walls. It is quite easy to reach us by walking from the port slope to the new "Bousquet Promenade" until the Porta Terra' s tower. You will find our shop by going on to Via Simon itself. It is characterized by an ancient barrel vault made of old sandstone.
